What to take to Uni

It's been so long since I last blogged and here are my excuses...
  • I had no laptop for a while
  • I moved into my new student house and we have no internet.
It's all so sad. I'm back home for a few days now so I at last have internet! *Does a little dance*

Firstly congratulations to everyone who got into uni this year, you have an amazing year ahead of you. I thought I would take this time to share with you my list of things you should be taking (and some you shouldn't) to uni with you.

Normal clothes

Socks and underwear- bulk up on underwear now so you don’t have to do your washing quite so often!
Formal outfit- there is usually an end of fresher’s week event that requires a more formal outfit.
Shoes

Walking boots- In Bangor they are essential, even if you don’t go walking it’s nice to know you have at least one pair of waterproof shoes!
Wellies- again, it rains a lot in Bangor!
Trainers

Swimwear

Fancy dress- take the basics, geek/nerd is easy enough, neon, pirate, where’s wally.

*- these items maybe already supplied or could be restricted by your university.

This list certainly isn't the be all and end all, be flexible and take whatever makes you feel at home.

I hope to resume regular blogging services soon, enjoy all your pre uni packing!

Keep it scrimpy
Laura
